OutSystems software enterprise company specialized in low-code honored 19 companies from Portugal, Asia-Pacific, Africa, South America and the United Kingdom that use OutSystems to build innovative applications and transform their business.

OutSystems announced 2017 Innovation Awards winners at its recent NextStep conference – the largest event that combines low-code development and digital transformation, in Lisbon. Applicants were evaluated based on business impact and measurable IT benefits.

Among 700 entries, 19  companies were awarded and 5 of the award-winning worked together with Truewind developing digital transformation projects with OutSystems low-code platform– Randstad Portugal, EMEF, Refriango, NHS and Davies Turner.

OutSystems awarded Truewind with:

  • Innovation Award “Speed and Transformation”
    In 7 weeks, Truewind built an automated online patient booking system to deliver a fast and easy service to doctors and trainees across all England for the NHS Practitioner Health Programme (PHP).
  • Innovation Award “Enterprise Integration With Speed”
    With Truewind help Randstad Portugal performed a global refactoring of its business applications, building an integrated tool for Sales Support, Employee Operation and Customer Billing—all of this in 6 months.
  • Innovation Award “IT-Business Collaboration”
    Truewind created an online portal that allows customers to monitor and manage their shipments across the world, covering the complete shipment lifecycle from purchase to customs procedures and more.
  • Innovation Award “Change Management Excellence”
    Refriango empowered team decision-making by centralizing all information. The GALT portal was conceived and implemented to help internal services manage accommodation and transport for employees.
  • Innovation Award “Digital Transformation”
    In 2 months Truewind and EMEF deployed a web application to access maintenance operation details and share info on completion of specific tasks, thus providing real-time data on the global operation.
